Little Mucky Monkeys: What do we do?
The aim of Little Mucky Monkeys is for you to have MESSY FUN. We will provide a number of activities for you all to enjoy. Tables will be prepared for when you arrive and each will have a different activity using various creative materials. You can have a go at as many, or as few, tables as you like. Every activity will be based on a common theme for example, autumn, colours, animals and not forgetting Christmas!
One of the activities will lead to circle time, giving the monkeys chance to socialise and show off their creations! We will also provide drinks and biscuits at the end of the class giving you all chance for a chat.
Messy fun is great – it’s the tidying that is a pain! So we are here to do it for you! We will provide aprons to protect your toddler’s clothing – but leave the designer gear at home! At the end of the class you take all your little monkey’s creations home- leaving the mess behind!
Not only is Little Mucky Monkeys lots of fun but it is educational too! In 2008 The Early Years Foundation Stage will be in place- this is a Government initiative aimed at providing pre-school children with the best start in life. Creative development is an important part of this scheme. We hope that our classes will help develop your little monkey’s creative abilities. Our activities will help develop your child’s hand-eye co-ordination, imagination and creative thinking.
